The United States Congress has officially declared Donald Trump the winner of the 60th presidential election, which took place on November 5, 2024.

Trump, representing the Republican Party, received 312 electoral votes out of the required 270 and more than 77 million popular votes. He will become the 45th and 47th president of the United States of America.

The announcement of victory was made by Kamala Harris, the current vice president and leader of the Senate.
