The volume of Turkish carpet deliveries to Turkmenistan from January to November 2024 reached $4.9 million.

In November 2024, Turkmenistan purchased carpets from Turkey for $225,085 thousand, which is 14.2% more than in the same period a year earlier. The total export of carpets from Turkey for January–November of the previous year also showed positive dynamics. It increased by 5% year-on-year and reached $2.6 billion.

The steady growth of exports to Turkmenistan emphasizes the common interest of the two countries in high-quality carpets and the strengthening of economic cooperation. Overall, trade between Turkmenistan and Turkey in January–August 2024 reached $1.532 billion, which is 16% more than in the corresponding period of 2023.
