The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan co-organized the second forum of analytical centers "China + five Central Asian countries".

The countries of Central Asia are the link between Europe and Asia and they are becoming more and more important from a strategic point of view. They seek to diversify their foreign policy, and the EU needs to strengthen relations with them, said the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, at a meeting of G7 foreign ministers in Münster, Germany, on Friday.

The Kazakh city of Almaty hosted these days the delegations of the countries of Central Asia and South Korea, who gathered in Kazakhstan to participate in the meeting of the Asian Forest Cooperation Organization. The initiator of the forum was the Korean Forest Service, which organized the conference within the framework of the Memorandum on Cooperation in the Forest Industry signed by the countries in October 2013, Korean information sources write.

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov took part in the 15th Cooperation Forum "Central Asia - the Republic of Korea", which was held on Tuesday, October 25, in the city of Pusan.

Turkmen experts took part in an online conference on the topic "The state and prospects of development of transport and logistics infrastructure of Central Asian countries as an important factor in ensuring interconnectedness in the region".
