The second Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Snow Football Tournament has commenced in Harbin, the administrative center of Heilongjiang Province in northeastern China.
Preparations are underway in Ganja, Azerbaijan's second-largest city after Baku, for the III Games of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in 2025. This was announced by Mushfig Jafarov, a member of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) of Azerbaijan, at a plenary session.

Turkmenistan has launched the "Athlete of the Month" competition, in which citizens will determine the best athlete of the month through SMS voting. The initiative will be implemented by the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting, and Cinematography, the "Türkmenistan Sport" TV channel, the "Mahabat" Department, and the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Education and Sports.
