Turkmen Instructor Participates in U.S. State Department Training

A lecturer from the International University for the Humanities and Development represents Turkmenistan at training sessions on the topic “Trade, Development, and Finance.” These sessions are held within the framework of the U.S. State Department's International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) and are aimed at strengthening international cooperation.

The trainings began with presentations by leading American experts:

• Martha Pereima (Specialist of the U.S. State Department)

• Megan Simpson (Program Committee Manager)

• Matthew Green (Professor at the Catholic University of America)

Participants from more than 30 countries had the opportunity to give presentations. The representative of Turkmenistan, Abdal Hydyrov, spoke in detail about the development of the education sector in Turkmenistan and outlined key goals for the future.

The main objective of the program is to familiarize international participants with U.S. efforts to promote financial and trade relations with countries around the world. The exchange of experience will enable participants to identify new paths for developing international cooperation in trade, finance, and economic growth.

During the visit, representatives of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs are also scheduled to meet with leaders of major financial, international trade, and business institutions. This initiative serves as a strong incentive for strengthening ties and implementing best practices within national structures.
