Educational Diplomacy: Turkmen Ambassadors Meet with Youth in Kazakhstan and Malaysia

Kazakhstan: Lecture at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University
Turkmenistan's Ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Batyr Rejepov, delivered a lecture to the faculty and Turkmen students of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
The Ambassador highlighted the main areas of the country's foreign policy and youth policy, providing a detailed account of key social, economic, scientific, and educational reforms, the results of the Khalk Maslakhaty meeting on state development, and the priorities announced by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.
Particular attention was paid to preparations for the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality in 2025. Following the lecture, the Ambassador presented letters of gratitude to outstanding students and donated a commemorative book by National Leader of the Turkmen People, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, to the ENU library.
At a meeting with ENU Rector Erlan Sydykov, issues of academic exchange and the implementation of joint research projects were discussed. The Rector congratulated the Turkmen side on the upcoming 30th anniversary of neutrality, emphasizing its importance for strengthening peace and stability in the region.
Malaysia: Expanding Cooperation with Sunway University
On the same day, a meeting with the academic community of Sunway University was held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Malaysia.
The Dean of the School of Commerce, Professor Emeritus Lim Weng Mark, expressed gratitude for organizing the meeting and emphasized the significant presence of Turkmen students (over 250) at the university, noting the intention to increase this number. The Ambassador expressed appreciation for the support provided to Turkmen students.
The meeting also served as a platform for discussing Turkmenistan's activities within the framework of the International Year of Peace and Trust, in connection with which a major international forum is planned for December in Ashgabat.
