Oriented on making people closer

In Tashkent, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Uzbekistan Shadurdy Meredov and Minister of Health of the Republic Asilbek Khudayarov held a meeting. The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation in the field of healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical education and exchange of experience.

The Turkmen delegation presented information on the creation of a large medical cluster in the city of Arkadag, including scientific research on the development of drugs and the production of medical products. It was especially emphasized that the enterprise "Arkadag Medisina Klasteri Menejment" is certified according to the State Certification System of Turkmenistan.

During the visit, a presentation of the cluster project was held in the building of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Surgery named after Academician V. Vakhidov. It was attended by heads of medical centers and representatives of the business community of Uzbekistan.

According to the participants, the cluster being created in Arkadag will become a comprehensive innovation platform combining scientific research, technology development, equipment production and training of specialists, based on advanced global practices.
