Oriented on making people closer

On September 9, a ceremonial opening of a new, modern village of Dovletli Mekan was held in Ahal velayat. This project, implemented within the framework of large-scale state programs, became a wonderful gift to the residents of the region on the eve of the 34th anniversary of the country's independence.

A congratulatory address by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov was read at the ceremony, which was attended by representatives of the Mejlis, local authorities, public organizations and residents.

The new village, built in the Ongaldy gengeshlik of the Ak Bugday etrap, is a full-fledged settlement with developed infrastructure. Its territory comprises: 400 residential buildings with a modern design and all amenities; a health center with a pharmacy, a secondary school for 640 children, equipped with multimedia equipment; a kindergarten for 320 children with playgrounds; A shopping center to provide residents with essential goods; an administrative building of the gengeshlik, where its center was moved.

An integrated approach to construction includes a modern road and transport network, water, electricity, and gas supply systems, as well as landscaped park areas. The design of the houses harmoniously combines national traditions and modern solutions, which provides residents with increased comfort.

The opening ceremony was accompanied by festive events, including treats, traditional rituals and a wedding procession, which added a special color to the event.
