Balkan Cement Plant Supplies Over 403,000 Tons of Products Since Start of Year

Since the beginning of this year, the Balkan Cement Plant, operating under Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Industry and Construction Production, has delivered 403,192 tons of high-quality cement to consumers. According to the enterprise, production growth reached 129 percent compared to the same period last year.

The cement plant is located near the city of Balkanabat, the administrative center of Balkan Province. Occupying a 50-hectare site, the facility is a fully integrated industrial complex, where hundreds of workers and specialists operate in multiple shifts. Three four-story residential buildings, each designed for 16 families, have been built on-site to accommodate employees.

All stages of the production process at the plant are mechanized and automated. Coordinated work across the garage, mechanical, energy, and automation departments, along with control centers, ensures stable and uninterrupted output. The plant’s products are regularly shipped to construction sites across the country.

The enterprise uses raw materials sourced within Balkan Province, including limestone, clay, quartz sand, gypsum, and iron ore. This local sourcing helps optimize logistics, expand production volumes, and reduce the cost of finished products.

The plant’s development is part of large-scale reforms underway in Turkmenistan during the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, aimed at stimulating growth across all sectors of the national economy.
