Acer at IFA 2025: From the Lightest Laptop to Powerful Gaming Rigs
09.09.2025 | 17:00 |At the IFA 2025 exhibition, Acer unveiled a wide range of new products, covering nearly all categories — from powerful gaming systems to ultra-light laptops and AI-focused devices.
Gaming PCs and Laptops
The updated Acer Predator Helios 18P AI became the flagship laptop, featuring an 18-inch Mini LED display (4K, 120 Hz). Its top configuration includes an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 GPU, and up to 128 GB of RAM. The 5th-generation AeroBlade cooling system with liquid metal ensures top performance. Among desktops, Acer showcased the Predator Orion 5000 and Orion 7000.
These models are equipped with the latest Intel processors (up to Core Ultra 7 and Core Ultra 9, respectively) and Nvidia graphics cards (up to RTX 5080 and RTX 5090). The higher-end Orion 7000 features the Predator CycloneX liquid cooling system.
Acer also introduced more affordable options with the Nitro series. The Nitro 50 and Nitro 70 desktops come with AMD processors (up to Ryzen 9 9950X3D) and Nvidia GPUs (up to RTX 5090). The Nitro V16 and Nitro V16S gaming laptops feature 16-inch displays (up to 180 Hz) and Intel Core 9 processors.
Monitors
In the monitor lineup, the Predator X27U F8 was introduced — a 27-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 480 Hz (up to 720 Hz) and a response time under 0.01 ms. For simulation enthusiasts, Acer released the curved Nitro XZ403CKR (39.7 inches, 5120 × 2160 resolution, up to 288 Hz). Additionally, three new 27-inch Nitro monitors debuted, offering resolutions from QHD up to 5K.
Thin and Light Laptops
One of the most remarkable innovations was the Swift Air 16 — the world’s first 16-inch laptop weighing under one kilogram. It runs on AMD Ryzen AI 300 series processors. Acer also introduced the compact TravelMate X4 14 AI, a Copilot+ PC business laptop featuring a 14-inch OLED display and a durable chassis.
Other Innovations
Acer also presented the Veriton GN100 AI Mini Workstation, powered by Nvidia GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, delivering up to 1 petaflop of performance. The refreshed Chromebook Plus Spin 514 became the company’s first Chromebook powered by the MediaTek Kompanio Ultra 910 processor. The Iconia tablet lineup was expanded with new models featuring displays up to 16 inches.
