Together with Turkmen scientists, their colleagues from Germany, Iran, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Russia and the United Arab Emirates took part in the event. At the morning plenary session, the guests addressed the conference participants with a congratulatory speech and made reports on current scientific topics.
Thus, the report "The Role of Science and Technology Parks in Sustainable Development: Problems and Prospects" was presented by Iranian scientist Ali Esmaeili, Akbar Amini. Timo Bey from Germany devoted his speech to the topic "Innovation Hub of the Turkic States". Hesham Zubari, representing the UAE, presented the topic "Fossil Fuels and Net Zero: The Path to Sustainability and Global Stability", and Umida Shaozimova from Uzbekistan presented the results of research on improving the operational reliability of the oil and gas transportation system with the targeted use of composite polymer materials based on local raw materials and secondary resources. The current topic of water extraction from atmospheric air was revealed by Russian researcher Sergey Dorzhiev, who joined the event online.
During the work of five thematic sections of the conference, Turkmen scientists presented dozens of reports reflecting a wide range of their scientific interests, corresponding to the latest areas of science and strategic priorities for the development of Turkmenistan. At the first section "Chemical technologies and ecology", the head of the International Scientific and Technological Park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan Durdymyrat Gadamov presented a report on the topic "Technology for the use of oil sludge waste by combining renewable energy sources". Other presentations were devoted to such scientific and applied topics as "Features of preventing rocks from entering the wellbore and sand jams during the development of oil and gas wells", "Ways to increase the quantity and improve the quality of oil refining products", "Prospects for the development of complex processing of brines in the Karabogazgol Bay", "Digital analysis of fuel economy in car engines".
In the second section, "Nanotechnology and Energy", much attention was paid to the development of alternative energy sources. The speakers discussed such topics as "Technologies for the use of renewable energy sources in the agro-industrial complex", "Economic analysis of the organization of hydrogen production based on solar energy", "The importance of using mobile photovoltaic stations in southeastern Turkmenistan", and also paid attention to various aspects of the use of nanotechnology, including in everyday life.
The speeches in the third section, "Technologies for the production of bio-, food and medicines", covered both broad topics, such as "Environmental diplomacy of neutral Turkmenistan - a guarantee of peace, sustainable development, cooperation", which was presented by Sapargeldy Durdyev, and specific issues of biotechnology, in particular, in the presentation of Altyn Rakhmanova on the use of blue-green algae in the fight against desertification.
The fourth section, "Information, Communication and Geographic Information Systems," featured presentations on the use of artificial intelligence in various fields: "Protecting Employee Information Security with Artificial Intelligence Technologies," "The Importance of Artificial Intelligence Technologies in Environmental Protection," and also considered the use of geographic information systems in science, the importance of cybersecurity in modern education, increasing the capacity of road and transport infrastructure, and monitoring production processes at textile enterprises.
The topic of AI was also reflected in the fifth section, "Innovative Economy," where the reports "Problems of Using Artificial Intelligence in Managing Industrial Manipulator Robots" and "The Impact of Artificial Intelligence Technology on the Development of Innovative Processes in the Economy" were presented. The participants were interested in presentations on digital and technological transformation, the environmental benefits of using renewable energy sources, intelligent information systems in an innovative economy, the specifics of using blockchain technology in the development of smart cities, and other relevant topics.
Particular attention was paid to the role of entrepreneurship in the development of an innovative economy, which was the subject of presentations on the topics of “The main directions of development of the private sector of the country's economy and attracting investments into it”, “The role of youth entrepreneurship in the formation of an innovative economy”, “Features of the influence of startup incubators on the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the context of an innovative economy”.
