Oriented on making people closer

A new important instrument for development of foreign economic activity and strengthening of international partnership has been created in Turkmenistan. The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution on establishment of the Interdepartmental Commission for further development of foreign economic activity.

The decision to establish the commission is dictated by ambitious tasks laid down in key national strategic documents and programs. The main goal of the new structure is to intensify partnership with international and regional institutions for further expansion and diversification of foreign economic activity of Turkmenistan, which is a priority direction of state policy.

The competence of the Interdepartmental Commission will include the development of specific draft documents aimed at promoting cooperation with international economic organizations and leading financial institutions of the world, the TDH report says.

The Presidential Resolution also approved the composition of the Interdepartmental Commission and the Regulation on its work, which provides a clear organizational structure and legal basis for the effective operation of the new commission.

The creation of the Interdepartmental Commission is an important step towards the implementation of Turkmenistan's strategic goals to strengthen its position in the global economic system, stimulate economic growth and enhance the country's international authority.
