Iran's exports to Turkmenistan increase
03.02.2025 | 13:15 |Over the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 20 – December 20, 2024), Iran’s non-oil exports to Turkmenistan grew by 20.3% in value and 12.9% in volume compared to the same period last year (March 21 – December 21, 2023).
According to Trend, citing data from the Iranian Customs Administration, Iran exported 1.15 million tons of non-oil products to Turkmenistan during this period, amounting to $404 million.
For the same period last year, Iran’s non-oil exports to Turkmenistan totaled 1.02 million tons, valued at approximately $336 million. The main exports included agricultural and food products, industrial goods, transformers, water coolers, and petrochemical products.
According to the statistics, Iran's total non-oil trade turnover with Turkmenistan over these nine months reached 1.16 million tons, amounting to $420 million.
Additionally, the Iranian Customs Administration reports that Iran’s overall non-oil exports for the first nine months of the current Iranian year amounted to 116 million tons, worth $43.1 billion. Compared to the same period last year, non-oil exports increased by 18% in value and 13.8% in volume.
