 Azerbaijan launches grand project within the TURKSOY Organization

Azerbaijan has launched a grand project within the framework of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), which will be the first of its kind on the international stage.

The project involves the production of a film titled "Molla Nasreddin. A Friend of My Difficult Days" featuring Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. According to AZERTAJ, filming began six months ago and is currently taking place in Kyrgyzstan.

Ramil Gurban, Head of Public Relations and Marketing at the "Azerbaijanfilm" film studio, stated that the next filming stages will take place in Turkey, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan. The main goal of the project is to bring together Turkic-speaking countries through shared culture and the idea of unity. The film’s director and screenwriter is People's Artist Vagif Mustafayev, who also noted that filming in Azerbaijan is scheduled for April.

The project is intended not only to strengthen cultural ties among Turkic-speaking peoples but also to emphasize the importance of shared cultural heritage.
