The arrival of modern cleaning machinery, a gift from the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, became a significant event for the "smart" city. This was reported by the newspaper «Нейтральный Туркменистан».

An important step in the process was the traditional ceremony of accepting the equipment, where elderly mothers, symbolizing purity of intentions, sprinkled the shining bodies of the machines with white flour and tied an alaja.
