Oriented on making people closer

On Monday, December 16th, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, met with the Minister of Energy of Iran, Abbas Aliabadi, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the sides discussed cooperation, particularly in the energy and gas sectors.

The importance of the visit by the Iranian Minister of Energy, who arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the opening of the 16th specialized exhibition "Iran Agrofood," was highlighted. The exhibition showcases products from more than 60 Iranian companies. The two ministers also discussed the Turkmen-Iranian business forum aimed at strengthening the economic ties between the two countries.

The sides exchanged views on prospective directions for the development of their partnership, as noted in the press release from Turkmenistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
