 Trading at the SCRMT: 25 transactions registered last week

Last week, 25 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

For foreign currency, entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and Afghanistan purchased technical sulfur and liquefied gas produced at the technological units of the State Concern “Turkmengaz”. Representatives of business circles from the UAE and Afghanistan also purchased low-sulfur fuel oil, lighting kerosene, liquefied gas produced by the State Concern “Turkmennebit”, and urea (SC “Turkmenhimiya”).

In addition, hand-made carpets, cotton yarn, and Portland cement were sold for foreign currency. Buyer countries: United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan. The total amount of transactions amounted to over 47 million 469 thousand USD.

For the domestic market, domestic businessmen purchased polypropylene and base oil produced by the “Turkmennebit” SC, as well as float glass, Portland cement, packaging film, and cotton yarn. The total amount of transactions was more than 15 million 362 thousand manat and 222 thousand 870 dollars.
