A group of scientists from China arrived in Ashgabat
25.11.2024 | 19:45 |Today, November 25, a group of Chinese scientists arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the III Turkmen-Chinese scientific and innovation forum "Innovations, new technologies and issues of their implementation in production". The forum will be held from November 26 to 27 in the International Scientific and Technological Park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan.
Today, the participants were dedicated to getting acquainted with the cultural heritage and scientific achievements of Turkmenistan. In the morning, the delegation visited the Institute of Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, where scientists got acquainted with research in the field of chemical technology.
Then the guests went to the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan and the National Museum of the Turkmen Carpet. The excursion allowed the Chinese scientists to get acquainted with the history and culture of our country.
After lunch, the participants visited the International Science and Technology Park, which will be the main venue of the forum, and the Magtymguly Fragi Cultural and Park Complex, where a monument to the outstanding poet of the "golden age" of Chinese literature, Du Fu, is also installed.
The main events of the forum will begin tomorrow, November 26. The program includes the opening of an exhibition of innovative technologies and plenary sessions. And on November 27, bilateral meetings and round tables are planned.
It is worth noting that the forum is aimed at discussing practical issues of implementing advanced innovative solutions in various sectors of the economy and developing a national innovation system.
In particular, the participants will discuss new areas of cooperation between Turkmenistan and China in such areas as nano- and chemical technologies, research into new materials and energy, biotechnology and molecular biology, agriculture, ecology and genetics, information and communication systems, computer technologies, modern medicine and pharmaceutical production technologies, innovative economics and the humanities.
