Concerts, teleconference, and fireworks: Turkmenistan prepares for New Year celebrations

Among the key cultural events of the upcoming month is the lighting ceremony of the country’s Main Christmas Tree on December 15. Festive New Year concerts by cultural figures and artists will take place in “Ylham” Park, on the squares in front of the State Circus, the “Älem” Cultural and Entertainment Center, the “Arkadagyň binasy” monument in the city of Arkadag, and in the regions in front of the “Türkmeniň ak öýi” buildings.
Additionally, a New Year teleconference will connect Ashgabat, the regions, and the city of Arkadag, culminating in a festive fireworks display.
The report also highlighted plans for the commissioning of several new facilities in December, including residential buildings in the regions.
Furthermore, the final rounds of the creative contests “Merdana nesil – 2024” and “Ýylyň parlak ýyldyzy” are scheduled for December. Events dedicated to International Neutrality Day will include honoring Turkmen citizens awarded the anniversary medal “Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 ýyllygyna,” a flower-laying ceremony at the Neutrality Monument, a concert by cultural and artistic figures in the capital, and musical celebrations in the regions and the city Arkadag.
Several events will also commemorate Oil, Gas, and Geology Workers’ Day.
