Ashgabat and Tokyo to synchronize watches on economic agenda of cooperation
25.11.2024 | 01:20 |The 15th joint meeting of the Turkmen-Japanese and Japanese-Turkmen Committees for Economic Cooperation is being prepared. A Japanese delegation, including top executives from major corporations, is expected to arrive in Ashgabat to participate in the forum.
The meeting is scheduled for 17 December. Around 100 delegates from both sides will attend. The event is organized by the Association for Trade and Economic Relations with Russia and CIS Countries (ROTOBO), and the agenda covers a wide range of topics. Key areas of cooperation include transportation, energy, industry, water management, finance, ecology, as well as education and healthcare.
During the upcoming meeting, the parties plan to discuss projects aimed at deepening relations and expanding cooperation in strategically important sectors, attracting investments, and implementing innovative initiatives.
The previous, 14th joint meeting of the Turkmen-Japanese and Japanese-Turkmen Committees for Economic Cooperation was held in December 2022 in Tokyo.
