The issue was discussed on November 15 at a Cabinet of Ministers meeting. Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Amanov reported on the measures being undertaken to modernize the facilities of the State Concern "Turkmennebit," including the Korpeje GCS, and presented the draft Resolution for the President’s consideration.
It is worth noting that the Korpeje Gas Compressor Station, commissioned in 2005, is located at the Korpeje field in the Gograndag-Ekerem oil and gas region of the Balkan province. The station has a capacity of 4 billion cubic meters of gas per year.
