On November 18, the grand opening of the Days of Uzbek Culture took place under the arches of the Palace of Mukams at the State Cultural Center.

The opening ceremony was marked by a vibrant concert program featuring outstanding masters of art from Uzbekistan. The audience warmly applauded performances by musicians, folklore ensembles, and renowned People’s Artists of Uzbekistan, including Gulamytdin Yakubov and Agabay Sabirov. Their performances became a true celebration of music and art, showcasing the depth of Uzbek culture and traditions.

In addition to the concert, the foyer of the Palace of Mukams hosted an exhibition of applied and fine arts.

The display highlighted the rich heritage of Uzbek artisans, featuring handcrafted items, national costumes, and paintings that reflect the history of a friendly nation. The opening ceremony left all attendees with unforgettable emotions and an uplifting atmosphere.

It is worth noting that the Turkmen side also prepared an extensive cultural program for the guests from Uzbekistan, revealing the history of Turkmenistan. For instance, earlier today, the delegation visited Ashgabat’s landmarks. The excursion allowed guests to admire the modern architectural appearance of the Turkmen capital.

In the coming days, participants will engage in creative meetings with Turkmen colleagues, providing an excellent platform for exchanging experiences and inspiration. The highlight of the program will be a joint performance by the masters of art from both countries, symbolizing the unity of cultures and the friendship between the nations.
