Samsung launched the Galaxy Ring smart ring

Samsung has launched the Galaxy Ring, the result of years of research and development by the company in the field of health and activity tracking.

The ring uses artificial intelligence to analyze various physiological indicators of the user.

The manufacturer relies on the sleep tracking function: active sleep, snoring analysis, sleep movements, sleep latency, heart rate and breathing. Real-time heart rate monitoring with an alert feature will make the device useful during training.

The gadget is available in black, silver and gold colors in a class 5 titanium alloy case.

The ring can be worn confidently in all weather conditions, including while swimming. The smallest Samsung Galaxy Ring measures 7.0 × 2.6 mm and weighs 2.3 g; the largest one weighs 3 g.

The Samsung Galaxy Ring only connects via Bluetooth LE 5.4 to Galaxy smartphones running Android 11 or later. The device supports pinch gesture control. For example, while wearing the ring, you can press your thumb and index finger together to take a photo or turn off an alarm. The gadget is compatible with Samsung Find, and if lost, it can signal with built-in LED indicators.

The Galaxy Ring costs $399.99. It is already available for pre-order. When you place an order for a Galaxy Ring, Samsung will send you a free finger measurement kit, and it's recommended that you wear the completed device for at least 24 hours before confirming your final selection.
