Samsung has released sneakers that can be used to control your smartphone

The South Korean company Samsung has released unique sneakers that allow you to perform certain actions on a Samsung phone using foot movements.

The "sneaker of the future," the Shortcut Sneaker, lets you perform specific actions on your Samsung phone using unique foot movements. For example, the user can perform a moonwalk, and the phone will make a call to his mother at this time. You can tap dance to make your smartphone play music.

This was made possible thanks to motion sensors in the sole. Users can customize the phone to perform five different actions using unique foot movements.

The Shortcut Sneaker was developed in collaboration with creative agency Cheil Benelux, which is the developer of wearable electronics Elitac Wearables, Dutch company Brut Amsterdam and sneaker designer Roel van Hoff.

These sneakers are produced in an extremely limited edition - only six pairs. These sneakers are being given away exclusively to Samsung Members app users in the Netherlands until July 9, 2024. Samsung will announce the winner in the second week of July.
