05.05.2023 | 21:11 |Chinese passenger electric cars JAC E-J7 will start running in the city of Arkadag in the near future. The Chinese automotive company JAC Motors presented this model at the exhibition "International Transport and Transit Corridors: Interconnection and Development-2023", held in Ashgabat on May 3-4. Footage from the exhibition was shown by the national television program "Watan", saying that soon these "green" cars will appear on the city streets of the administrative center of the Ahal region.
The Chinese have been producing the compact JAC J7 liftback since 2019 and sell it under this name in the export markets of Mexico, Russia and Kazakhstan. The design of the car was developed in the Italian style center JAC under the direction of Daniel Gallione – he is the author of the design of Alfa Romeo, Lancia and Maserati models.
The car is packed with modern electronics and convenient "gadgets" - a multifunctional steering wheel, the back of the rear seat folds in a 40/60 ratio and allows you to adjust the tilt, a vertical touch screen to control the main equipment and all functions, including the climate system. There is also a Bluetooth module for connecting a mobile phone.
The electric version of the JAC E-J7 with two types of batteries provides mileage of 480 and 602 km in the CLTC cycle (China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle), respectively.
