Potentially the first Kazakh electric car - interesting design and unusual layout
20.03.2023 | 02:16 |The Drom.ru resource has published images of the Qoshcar GT Vision 1 car, which may become the first Kazakh electric car.
Potentially the first Kazakh electric car Qoshcar GT Vision 1 was shown on renderings. The project is still in its early stages, but well-known Russian auto designers have been involved to work on it, including those who have worked on some Renault models and the Aurus limousine.
It is assumed that Qoshcar GT Vision 1 will be offered both in versions of a pure electric car (for the countries of the Arabian Peninsula, China and the USA) and a hybrid (for Kazakhstan itself and the CIS countries).
The car will not be cheap - the price will be at the mark of 100 thousand dollars. They plan to organize production in Kazakhstan, for which they will build a plant capable of producing at least 4 thousand cars a year.
Qoshcar GT Vision 1 will be the company's first model, but a total of five are planned. A feature of Qoshcar GT Vision 1 is the body shape typical for Grand Tour cars (although other options are also provided), asymmetrical doors (two on the left and one large on the right) and the absence of a front passenger seat (carrying with a cat in this place is just a godsend of designers).
At the moment, the startup has applied for trademark registration in 30 countries and is actively seeking funding. About $2 million is needed to develop and build the first prototype.
