China to organize a series of events to stimulate SCO cooperation

China is actively organizing a series of events to stimulate cooperation among the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in 2025, which has been declared the "Year of China" within the framework of the organization. This was reported by the Chinese international news channel CGTN.

In this context, an SCO summit is planned to be held in Tianjin in the autumn. Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of China Liu Bin noted that active preparations for this event are currently underway. The summit will address key international and regional issues, as well as develop cooperation plans for the next ten years.

Furthermore, China intends to hold a number of cultural events, such as a film festival and a Roundtable Dialogue on Global Governance, which will facilitate the exchange of experience and strengthen ties between the SCO member states.

These initiatives are aimed at deepening mutual understanding and cooperation in various fields, including the economy, security, and cultural exchanges.
