Oriented on making people closer

In the Kazakh city of Aktau, at the Renaissance Aktau hotel, a presentation of the new Turkmen city of Arkadag, the administrative center of the Akhal region, was held.

Within the framework of the event organized by the Consulate of Turkmenistan, an exhibition was launched in the conference hall of the hotel, where Turkmen carpets, works of decorative and applied art, national clothes, books, magazines, portraits of great personalities of the Turkmen people, paintings reflecting their centuries-old culture, way of life and traditions were presented.

Acquaintance with the exposition preceded the review of the smart city project, which was attended by the heads of the Mangystau region of the Republic of Kazakhstan, heads of diplomatic missions, representatives of local business structures, and the media.

The presentation material presented at the event by Consul Muhammetnur Ovezov presented to the participants the process of construction of the new city of Arkadag, its key characteristics, primarily technological and environmental.

In particular, the audience's attention was focused on the formation of a public transport fleet due to electric buses and electric vehicles, the widespread use of intelligent systems and the Internet of Things for the comfort and safety of residents. Slides and videos about the successful implementation of the Smart City project "Arkadag" were used as an illustration.

In his speech, the representative of the leadership of the Mangystau region noted the significance and importance of the event in strengthening and developing bilateral cooperation in the field of advanced information and communication technologies. He also said that the "smart city" system is being gradually introduced in Kazakhstan, and a number of projects are being successfully implemented today.

The Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Aktau noted that the issue of the introduction and development of the smart city system is becoming more and more important every year, being the most important factor in the further development and prosperity of the countries
