The Parliament of Kazakhstan has ratified the agreement on the Kazakh-Turkmen border in the Caspian Sea
05.10.2022 | 22:02 |The lower House of the Kazakh Parliament (Majilis) voted for the ratification of the agreement on the Kazakh-Turkmen border and the delimitation of adjacent sections of fishing zones in the Caspian Sea, TASS reports.
The Committee on International Affairs, Defense and Security of the Majilis in its conclusion noted that the adopted agreement will create favorable investment conditions in the Caspian Sea, as well as eliminate the prerequisites for disputes regarding the delimitation of the Caspian Sea bottom.
This document will be the first in history to fix the state borders in the Caspian Sea.
