The President of Turkmenistan replaced the Minister of Internal Affairs

The head of state pointed to a number of omissions in the management of law enforcement agencies, control over road safety, and the inefficient use of modern technologies in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Six months ago, Khodzhanyyazov received a severe reprimand from the former president "for improper performance of official duties, shortcomings in work." Then a severe reprimand was accompanied by "the last warning to correct the shortcomings in the shortest possible time."
Today, Mukhammed Khydyrov was appointed to the post of Minister of Internal Affairs, who until that moment had worked as the head of the Police Department of the Lebap region.
