The price of Turkmen natural gas for China in July was 238 US dollars per thousand cubic meters, Interfax writes with reference to the data of the General Administration for Customs of the People's Republic of China.

The most expensive thing in July was blue fuel from Myanmar, which the country bought at $ 362 per thousand cubic meters. The cheapest price for China was Russian gas, the cost of which in July was $ 171 per thousand cubic meters.

Turkmenistan remains the leader in the supply of natural gas to China through the gas pipeline. In July, the country exported 2.77 billion cubic meters of natural gas to China, which is many times higher than the volume of supplies from other countries.

Russia supplied 888 million cubic meters of gas to China in July, Kazakhstan-302 million cubic meters, Uzbekistan-572 million cubic meters, Myanmar-335 million cubic meters. In total, China imported 4.868 billion cubic meters of natural gas in July.

In January-August 2021, Turkmenistan increased natural gas supplies abroad by 37% compared to the same period last year. For eight months, the country exported about 31 billion cubic meters of natural gas, which is 8.3 billion cubic meters more than last year.
