Oriented on making people closer

Microsoft has decided to make changes to the familiar keyboard of its personal computers based on the Windows 11 operating system.

The company added a dedicated button to launch the Copilot chatbot.

“Today we are excited to take the next significant step forward and introduce the Copilot key to Windows 11 PCs,” Corporate Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Yousuf Mehdi wrote.

Microsoft 365 Copilot is a tool for interacting with AI when working in graphics programs such as Word and Excel. It will be located near the right Alt and will replace either the context menu launch button or the Windows button.

This is the first big change in the keyboard layout of Windows personal computers in almost 30 years. Before this, the Windows button appeared on keyboards in the same way.
