Oriented on making people closer

Edouard Montout, a French theater and film actor, known to audiences for his role as Inspector Alain in the film “Taxi,” arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the I International Film Festival “Dawn of Arkadag” (“Arkadagyň säheri”).

The opening of the film forum will take place on October 14 in the city of Arkadag. Together with Edouard Montooth, Jen-Marie Laronze, producer of the Monde et Media company from Paris, also flew to Ashgabat. Guests with other celebrities from the world of cinema from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Turkey, France will walk along the red carpet of the Turkmen film festival.

“This is my first time in Turkmenistan and I am glad to take part in the first international film festival held in the country. I am sure that this will be an unforgettable event,” IIC reports the words of the French actor.

The film festival “The Dawn of Arkadag” will be held on October 14-15 in the city of Arkadag. Participants in the film forum will be actors and directors from Central Asia, Europe and Russia. The main goal of the event is to identify young talents, develop Turkmen cinema, familiarize the world community with the “smart” city of Arkadag and its technical capabilities in the digital sphere.
