Oriented on making people closer

The Second Meeting of the Steering Committee of the Central Asia Drug Prevention Program, phase 7 (CADAP 7) was held in Ashgabat. This is reported on the official website of the Program.

The participants of the meeting got acquainted with the results achieved within the framework of the implementation of the seventh phase of the program, gave an expert assessment of the progress. They also identified activities to be carried out in the future to achieve the goals of the project.

The event also provided a platform for the exchange of experience in the field of drug prevention in the region.

CADAP 7 reflects the continuity of the EU's long-term commitment to Central Asian partners to further help strengthen its national drug demand reduction plans and continue to cooperate in the development of a comprehensive and balanced drug policy.

It should also be noted that the implementation of CADAP 7 is in line with the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
