ATF President Yuri Polsky presented the commemorative trophy to the Chairman of the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan Eziz Dovletov, highlighting the achievements and progress in the development of tennis in the country.

As a result of the draw, the Turkmenistan national team was placed in Group C. In this group, it will compete against the teams from Uzbekistan (hosts), Australia, the Philippines, and Kuwait.

From 7 to 12 October, the VII Universiade of the Caspian countries took place in Astrakhan. The competition brought together students from universities that are members of the Association of Universities and Research Centres of the Caspian States. Rustam Rahmankulov, a student at the Central Ukrainian National Technical University and a proud citizen of Turkmenistan, secured a gold medal at the Ukrainian Combat Jiu-Jitsu Cup. The event took place from September 27 to 29 in the scenic Carpathian region of western Ukraine.

At the 45th World Chess Olympiad, which concluded today in Budapest, Hungary, both the men's and women's national teams were winners in their repestive categories. The men scored 15 points out of a possible 22 to win in category "B", while the women achieved 14 points in category "C".
