Turkmen educators enhance qualifications through international AELLCA project

From January to March 2025, fourteen instructors from Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammet Azady successfully completed intensive online training focused on advanced English language teaching methodologies. This initiative was part of the broader "Accelerated English Language Learning in Central Asia" (AELLCA) project, a collaborative effort between the British Council and Nottingham Trent University.

The course, designed to deepen educators' understanding of contemporary teaching approaches, was led by prominent specialists from the British university: Steve Sharp and Dr. Sam Barkley. The program aimed not only to update theoretical knowledge but also to facilitate the practical application of innovative methodologies in the classroom.

The training culminated in the participants successfully passing the international TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test) from the Cambridge Testing Centre. Upon completion of the testing, all instructors were awarded official Cambridge certificates, validating their high qualifications.

TKT is a globally recognized certification comprising modular tests that assess in-depth knowledge across various aspects of English language teaching. This achievement underscores the commitment of Turkmen specialists to professional development and international recognition.
