Turkmenistan to participate in regular ILO session
28.05.2025 | 07:10 |Chairperson of the National Center of Trade Unions and the Central Council of the Women's Union of Turkmenistan, Oguljennet Berdiliyeva, will participate in the 113th session of the International Labor Conference (ILO), which will be held at the Palais des Nations in Geneva from June 2 to 13, 2025. Representatives of governments, employers and workers will come together to discuss pressing issues in the world of work, including innovative approaches to solving the problem of informal employment, decent work in the platform economy, gender equality in the workplace, social dialogue and tripartism, and the contribution of the International Labor Organization to social development.
Delegations from 187 ILO member states are expected to participate in the conference. In addition, under the auspices of the ILO, the Second Annual Forum of the Global Coalition for Social Justice is planned to be held on June12, which will be attended by coalition partners and delegations of ILO members accredited to the conference. The Global Coalition for Social Justice is an initiative that brings together various stakeholders to fight social injustice and accelerate the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
