Football club "Arkadag" triumphantly concluded its campaign in the AFC Challenge League, achieving a historic victory in the final against Cambodian side "Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng" with a score of 2-1 in extra time. Goals from Mekan Saparov and Altymyrat Annadurdyyev secured the prestigious trophy for the Turkmen team.

On the way to the final, "Arkadag" under the guidance of Vladimir Bayramov, confidently won their group, defeating "Maziya Sports," "Abdysh-Ata" and "Al-Arabi". In the playoffs, they overcame Indian club "East Bengal" and, in a dramatic semi-final, Kuwaiti side "Al-Arabi". "Arkadag's" opponent, "Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng" had previously defeated "Shan United" and "Madura United".

This victory for "Arkadag" marks a significant milestone in the history of Turkmen football, demonstrating the growing level of the national sport thanks to the attention and support of the country's leadership.
