KazanForum 2025 to present prestigious awards to women entrepreneurs and philanthropists

The main goals of the awards are to facilitate success, promote business projects and personal brands that are key to ensuring progress in strengthening ties between Russia and the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, as well as charitable projects that improve people's lives.
The "Halal Business Woman" award is presented to women who demonstrate outstanding abilities, entrepreneurial spirit, innovative approaches to business, and a commitment to creating high-quality halal products and services. Last year's winner was a designer from Qatar, Manjulakshmi Bharathan.
"Halal Charity Woman" is an award in the field of philanthropy for women who demonstrate outstanding qualities of humanism, compassion, empathy, and a willingness to provide assistance and support to those in need. Last year, the award was received by the First Vice-President of the International Association of Public Charitable Foundations "MAMA", President of the Moscow Regional Charitable Foundation "MAMA", Yulia Valerievna Klepikova-Babich.
The evaluation criteria for participants include the originality of projects, impact on life, initiative, recognition, and adherence to Halal standards in charitable and entrepreneurial activities.
"International recognition on the sidelines of the forum of women's initiatives and implemented projects is, among other things, a demonstration of Russia's friendly approaches to rapprochement with the Islamic world through shared values for the benefit of global society. In the future, the women's forum will provide a foundation for joint international achievements," said Talia Minullina, Head of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.
The "Women's View" with an Eastern focus is one of the most intriguing parts of the program of the upcoming International Economic Forum of Russia and the OIC countries "Russia — Islamic World: KazanForum". The session will discuss the role of women and the family in business and the global economy, issues of charity, and the development of women's entrepreneurship. Participation in the discussions has been confirmed by well-known female entrepreneurs and experts from Russia, Turkey, the UAE, India, Bahrain, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and other countries.
