The title of the collection refers to the famous Alexander Nevsky Chapel, recreated by Zurab Tsereteli. Like the chapel, Huseynov's music is imbued with spirituality and deep meaning. The composer draws inspiration from folk music, classical works, and philosophy. Huseynov's work is a vivid example of the harmonious combination of ethnic and national cultures with the European musical tradition.

The collection includes both previously written works to the verses of Andrey Dementiev, "Song of Ascent" - a Concerto for mixed choir a cappella, based on the texts of the Psalms of David. It also includes the recently created "Ode to the Hero", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, with texts by the modern Turkmen poet Hajy Kakalyyev.

The title of the collection "Crystal Chapel" was inspired by the magnificent structure, recreated by the great master Zurab Tsereteli, as well as the choral spiritual music festival of the same name. The Crystal Chapel festival project occupies a significant place among many choral events in Russia. The main goal of the festival is joint music-making, uniting people who are passionate about a common cause, preserving and developing the cultural, spiritual and song traditions of the people, which is an act of people's diplomacy, strengthening friendship and cooperation between different peoples. The festival is an important part of the events of the Days of Slavic Writing and Culture in Moscow and is included in the city program "Night of Museums".

Traditionally, the final performance of the festival finalists takes place in the open air near the walls of the "Crystal Chapel", installed in the courtyard of the State Museum of Modern Art (Moscow, Gogolevsky Boulevard, 10).

The foreword to the collection is a greeting from Zurab Tsereteli, President of the Russian Academy of Arts, People's Artist of the USSR and the Russian Federation, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador. Here is one of the fragments of this message:

"...All these spiritual values that connect people, nations and the entire planet are also characteristic of choral singing. Even Ludwig van Beethoven wanted to sing the brotherhood of all the people of the world, united in a single impulse of joy and freedom, in his Ninth Symphony, into which he introduced the choir for the first time. As the composer and choirmaster Georgy Struve noted: "The choir is a reflection of an ideal society built on a common aspiration and coordinated sound. This is a society where it is important to hear each other and listen to everyone's opinion, where individuality is not extinguished, but, on the contrary, is revealed in its entirety. Let us preserve our spiritual values in order to pass them on to the next generations".

The release of the collection "Crystal Chapel" is a significant event for musical culture. It not only enriches the repertoire of choirs, but also helps to strengthen cultural ties between peoples.
