Turkmenistan and Japan are setting a new scale of economic cooperation
17.12.2024 | 23:45 |On December 17, within the framework of the 15th meeting of the Turkmen-Japanese Committee on Economic Cooperation in Ashgabat, fruitful meetings were held with representatives of leading Japanese companies.
The participants discussed current issues of bilateral economic cooperation and outlined promising areas of joint activities. It was noted that in recent years, trade and economic ties between Turkmenistan and Japan have significantly strengthened, there are trends towards increasing the volume of trade between our countries.
Particular attention at the meetings with members of the government and heads of a number of departments was paid to the prospects for developing cooperation in such key sectors as energy, transport and communications, industry, agriculture and construction, finance and investment.
In particular, the parties expressed interest in implementing joint projects in the field of modernization of enterprises, the introduction of energy-saving technologies.
