On December 11, an international conference entitled “Joint Action to Strengthen Peace and Sustainable Development” began in Ashgabat. The event takes place in the capital's Yildiz Hotel and brought together representatives from foreign countries and international organizations.

As part of the conference, a bright exhibition dedicated to the 29th anniversary of the Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan and the International Day of Neutrality was launched.

The exhibition is attended by diplomatic missions accredited in the country, including delegations from the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Pakistan.

Before the start of the conference, participants were able to familiarize themselves with the exhibition. This created an atmosphere of mutual understanding and cooperation among the delegates.

The official opening of the high-level meeting of the conference took place with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov. In their speeches, the participants emphasized the importance of sustainable development as the basis for peace and trust.

They noted the need for trust between peoples and the role of international organizations in ensuring a safe world.

It is worth noting that the conference also includes sessions at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, as well as in the building of the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. These events contribute to deepening dialogue and cooperation between states in the field of sustainable development between brotherly states.
