Russia maintains educational relations with Turkmenistan
18.11.2024 | 21:55 |Russia continues to strengthen educational relations with Turkmenistan, transferring more than 1,000 educational and methodological books in recent days and organizing advanced training courses for Turkmen teachers.
According to TASS, citing the First Secretary of the Russian Embassy in Turkmenistan Yulia Zaitseva, within the framework of cooperation in the field of education, the Russian side is transferring educational literature for Turkmen universities, including books on teaching Russian as a foreign language, as well as popular science publications and dictionaries.
The books will be delivered to the National Institute of Education of Turkmenistan and leading educational institutions of the country, including the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammet Azadi, Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi.
In addition, from 18 to 26 November, teachers from Tatarstan's Naberezhnochelninsk State Pedagogical University will hold professional development courses for colleagues from Turkmen universities.
The program covers a wide range of disciplines, including mathematics, preschool education, Russian language and literature, psychology, physical education, basics of life safety and other areas. The course participants will be teachers from leading universities and teacher training colleges in Turkmenistan, including the capital Ashgabat, the city of Arkadag and other regions of the country.
