The agenda of the Turkmen-German economic partnership was verified in Berlin
08.11.2024 | 23:50 |The 10th meeting of the Turkmen-German working group on economic cooperation was held this week in Berlin. The meeting was held at the German Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Change. The Turkmen delegation was headed by Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Atdayev.
The meeting consisted of two sessions. The first discussed the state of bilateral trade and economic relations and directions for their development. The work of the second session was held with the participation of representatives of German business structures and associations. Specific issues of interaction in the areas of investment and financial-banking cooperation, energy, oil and gas, renewable energy sources, reduction of methane emissions, environmental protection, water and agriculture, medical industry, transport, logistics and infrastructure, transition to a "green economy", support for small and medium businesses were considered.
Also during the meeting, measures for the implementation of the Roadmap for cooperation between Turkmenistan and Germany and upcoming joint tasks envisaged by the plan of interaction with the Eastern Committee of German Economy were analyzed.
