The opening of the Central Asia-Jiangsu multifunctional shopping center took place in the Chinese city of Nanjing. It will become a platform for work and accommodation of companies from Central Asian countries. This was reported by the Kazinform agency with reference to the Ministry of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan.

The opening ceremony was held with the support of the Jiangsu Provincial Administration and the Jiangsu SOHO Holdings Group Co. Ltd. The ceremony was attended by the head of the province and city of Nanjing, as well as representatives of Kazakhstan business and the quasi-public sector.

The guests were presented with an exhibition pavilion, where export goods from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan were displayed. It is expected that the center will facilitate access to the Chinese market for companies from five Central Asian countries located along the One Belt, One Road initiative and will help meet their economic needs due to the developed infrastructure of the Jiangsu region.
