As part of the exhibition “Innoprom. Central Asia” the State Scientific Center of the Russian Federation NAMI presented the most powerful in the world and the first luxury hydrogen car in history NAMI Hydrogen.

The car, created on the platform of the premium sedan Aurus Senat, is distinguished by its unique layout. It is equipped with all-wheel drive and three electric motors. One of the NAMI Hydrogen engines is located in the front and two in the rear. Each of them produces 340 horsepower. Total power 1020 hp. provides acceleration to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds. Moreover, the new product can control the thrust vector.

The hydrogen fuel storage system is implemented in three cylinders holding up to 8 kg of gas under a pressure of 700 atmospheres. This allows the car to cover a distance of up to 870 km without refueling.

NAMI Hydrogen, as the first hydrogen car, debuted on May 31, 2021 at the opening ceremony of the Aurus plant in Yelabuga. Since then, the institute has produced three modifications of this hydrogen car, which are used to test innovative technologies and solutions.
