According to Anna, despite the novelty, the topic was of great interest to the student.
This year the event brought together about 1,500 participants from different cities of Russia and foreign countries.
From November 28 to December 21, 2023, a full-time and correspondence educational course was held on legislative techniques and parliamentary procedures. Based on the results of the course, there were selected candidates to participate in the full-time stage of the MGIMO Parliamentary Model.
This project has been carried out since 2019 as part of the strategic academic leadership program “Priority 2030” in order to develop youth parliamentarism and improve the legislative skills of students.
Every year, the event provides students with the opportunity not only to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice, but also to act as masters of legal technology and demonstrate public speaking skills and defending their positions. Moreover, participants get a unique chance to interact with invited experts from various departments.
