Construction of the Central Asia International Industrial Cooperation Center will begin in 2024
21.02.2024 | 15:13 |This year, the construction of the international center for industrial cooperation «Central Asia» will be launched. This is reported by the Ministry of Trade of Kazakhstan.
The center will be located on the border territory in the area of the international checkpoints «Gulistan» on the part of Uzbekistan and «Atameken» on the part of Kazakhstan.
According to the results of the competitive selection, a Kazakhstani investor was determined – TCL gr. LLP. Together with the Akimat of the Turkestan region, the investor has developed a concept for the development of the industrial cooperation center. The investor will also have to provide a full range of services for residents of the center, along with the organization of events aimed at its support and promotion.
According to Vice Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan Kairat Torebayev, the technical launch of the industrial cooperation center is scheduled for the 4th quarter of 2026, and the official opening is in the first half of 2027.
The creation of an international center for industrial cooperation will contribute to the further development of trade and economic relations between the countries of the region, and the activation of business ties between manufacturers and entrepreneurs.
