Oriented on making people closer

On Thursday, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the construction site of the new complex of the Motor Sports Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan.

ORIENT previously wrote that the National Leader, during his visit to the previous Center on August 11 , proposed to move this entire complex to another location due to its proximity to residential buildings.

During the current inspection trip to the construction site of the new Motor Sports Center, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with three project options, which provide for the creation of two functional zones. One of them is focused on the training process and preparation of sports cars for competitions, and the other is focused on organizing rallies, including international ones.

The architectural solutions included symbolic emblems: an image of an Akhal-Teke horse for one zone, and a Turkmen Alabai for another.

The motorsport center, with an area of ​​71 hectares, will spread its possessions 40 kilometers from Ashgabat. The Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty expressed confidence that the location of the new complex is best suited for the implementation of the project. Along with this, he emphasized the state importance of developing motor sports in Turkmenistan.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people pointed out the need for constant modernization of the material and technical base of the new Center and improving the skills of athletes by participating in major international competitions. Noting the success of domestic racers in international rallies, the head of the Khalk Maslakhaty set the task of ensuring that the new complex meets the highest standards.

In particular, he instructed to provide for the construction of ring race tracks with complex tracks designed to host competitions in various types of auto and motor sports, as well as competitions in small sports cars.

As part of the visit, the Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty was shown a new sports car that was placed at the disposal of the Center. After a thorough assessment of the car's condition, road and weather conditions, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov personally tested the car, successfully overcoming a difficult route through the sands of the Karakum Desert.

The National Leader drew the attention of the leaders present to the importance of high-quality execution of all construction work using modern technologies and best practices. As an additional measure, he recommended using environmentally friendly Karakum sand mined on the construction site for the needs of kindergartens and playgrounds being built in the region.

The Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty emphasized the importance of holding sports competitions in the country, including international rallies, sharing his own rich experience in this area.

Recall that Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, being the head of the Turkmen state, initiated the International Rally "Amul-Khazar 2018" in order to promote a healthy lifestyle and encourage sports activities, in which he personally took part, showing high results.

In the context of strengthening environmental safety, the National Leader announced plans for large-scale planting (8 million 320 thousand saxaul seedlings and other desert plants) to strengthen sand massifs and improve the environment in the region. At the same time, he emphasized the need for ongoing such events to enrich the flora.

In conclusion, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that the development of motor sports in the country is aimed at forming a healthy and spiritually developed society, especially among the younger generation. He emphasized the important role that sports play in developing the physical and psychological qualities that people need throughout their lives.
