Oriented on making people closer

The application process has begun for participation in the TEKNOFEST festival, which is expected to attract significant interest in the world of technology and innovation.

TEKNOFEST will host a social innovation competition, the Robolig Blue Homeland competition, and a drone championship. For the first time this year, the HackMasters Blue Homeland competition will also take place.

This year, TEKNOFEST will be held in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Participants will have the opportunity to present and develop their projects, with teams collectively receiving 2.5 million Turkish liras in total. Financial support of 3 million Turkish liras will also be provided.

The competitions within TEKNOFEST-2025 will provide an opportunity to develop innovative solutions across various technology sectors. For example, the technology competition in the tourism sector will focus on creating innovative solutions to explore Turkey’s and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus’s rich cultural heritage, tourism potential, culture, and activities. In the social innovation competition, technology-driven creative approaches to solving social problems will be proposed. The TEKNOFEST research project competition will focus on finding innovative solutions to issues faced by the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in the areas of agriculture, environment, and energy.

The flying car modeling competition invites aviation enthusiasts to gain unique experience, while the TEKNOFEST Drone Championship TRNC Stage will feature innovative drone-related projects. The TEKNOFEST Robolig - Blue Homeland competition provides teams the opportunity to enhance their skills in robotics and programming, and the HackMasters Blue Homeland competition will open its doors to those wishing to demonstrate their talents in cybersecurity.

The application deadline for TEKNOFEST-2025 competitions is January 15.
